1989年10月にカナダのケベック州ビクトリアビルで開催された、「ビクトリアビル国際音楽祭（Festival International de Musique Actuelle de Victoriaville）」の貴重なライヴ作品です。タイトルにあるように10曲のインプロヴィゼーション曲を収録しています。圧巻はやはりラストの15分半を超える、マギー・ニコルズ（ヴォーカル）、リンゼイ・クーパー（バスーン、サクソフォン）、イレーネ・シュヴァイツァー（ピアノ）による、驚異の女性即興音楽トリオのフリージャズ・セッションでしょうか！！
